Kya

Kya came to live with Scott prior to our marriage. I convinced him to take her because I didn't want her to go to the shelter. Kya was from a litter my parents' dogs had. She was a great agility dog and could leap a 6ft wooden fence from a sit. Kya raised Otis, Amos and Cyrus and taught those boys a lot. She wasn't the biggest dog in our house but everyone knew she was the Queen or at least they let her think so. Her sweet and loving disposition is still missed today.

Rich's Otis

05/91 to 08/99
Otis was our first Dogue de Bordeaux. We did a lot of things wrong in
purchasing our first Bordeaux but Otis was the best dog. He was truly Scott's
dog. When our son Bobby was born Otis never left his side. Wherever Bobby went
Otis was right beside him. He was truly a very special boy. We lost Otis to
bladder cancer in August, 1999 and his hole is still felt in our family.

Hidden Valley's Famous Amos
09/99 to 10/00
After the loss of Otis we went searching for another Dogue and found Amos.
Amos was the first Dogue Angie showed. She was just starting his show career
when he developed Lymphoma and died at the age of 13 months. Just 3 weeks prior
to that at the ARBA Micro Classic Amos had placed 3rd in Group. His first group
placement! That was a fun show because Jennifer Roberts was there to witness it.
Amos was out of Jennifer's Simba. Amos was a big boy! He was 28" tall and
weighed in at 150lbs when he passed away at 13 months. His loss was very hard
since we just lost Otis the year before to cancer as well.
